Research
Market Research
There are many educational apps within the digital kids content world, But none of them can provide the combination of high quality customized content, cultivation of the parent kid interaction and daily monitoring of the child's academic progress.

User Research
Main goal: Understand the pain points of the parents.
Primary research method: Questionnaire.
Questions topics: Children's screen habits, parent-child interaction, contents child exposed to.
Secondary research method: Interviewing friends and acquaintances support the fact that many parents need value-added educational apps.

Personas
After doing the user research I moved on to creating personas.
I created two main personas that represent the pain points and needs of the parents : Shir and Alon.

Work Proccess
After researching, understanding the main issues and creating the personas, I’ve started ideating the possible solutions. At first, I thought of the hierarchy and what screens should the app contain. then I started sketching possible solutions until finally creating a fully animated prototype.

User Flow

Sketches
I’ve spent a lot of time sketching, mainly because I’ve had many different ideas regarding the app’s interface. Eventually, after hearing opinions from the parents I’ve interviewed, here are some the final sketches:

Wireframes
After sketching, I’ve refined my ideas into high fidelity wireframes.
I love that step because it’s that time I get to see my ideas come to life.

On the landing page there is entry for parents and other entry for children.
In order to avoid the children from entering the parents' dashboard, a mathematical exercise will pop up. After solving the exercise, the Onboarding page will pop up.

The design of the Parents dashboard screen is of primary importance, and the selection of features was carried out carefully and was accompanied by many deliberations.

It was important to me that the graphs representing the child's educational progress be clear and pleasant to look at and that the functions be understandable at first glance.
That's why I performed several usability tests for parents that led to several improvements.
